I never knew what a fluke was until my daughter took a National Geographic excursion to the Arctic north of Norway, to see and photograph polar bears. One day almost everyone on the ship went running to one side to look over the rails and some people were yelling "FLUKE" - which she had no idea what that meant. Turns out a whale had been swimming next to the ship for a while and when it took off to depart and go in a different direction it dove but did like a wave with its tale. Turns out that is a huge deal when a whale does that. So of course my daughter got several pictures of that. So that is what this pendant it and I actually found one that the tail is a beautiful blue. I put this on an 18 inch stainless chain.
