Sandollar Vintage Pendant Appears to be Real Dipped in Gold and Golden on Top Vintae Chain

This is a great pendant. This pendant is a Sand Dollar from the 70s. It appears to be real but no way for me to really tell. Back in the 70s is when they were dippng seashells, leaves, sand dollars, etc. into gold and making pendants out of them. I used to buy them at the shell shops in Florida when we went down there in the spring. This sand dollar is 1 1/4 inches in diameter. I put this on a 22 inch vintage chain.
