While working in Kuwait for Saudi Arabian Texaco Inc., I was given the responsibility to assist with Texaco’s 5th Student’s Art Competition which was coordinated with The Meridien Hotel in Kuwait. The artwork shown here was created by one of the winners of the contest, a 14-year-old Arabian student. Texaco was given several of these, the others were kept by Meridien, and I was awarded three of these pictures for my participation in this contest. So, this is the only one like it in the world. Even the student was not allowed to keep it. I have added a beautiful frame and it is in excellent condition. Also, interesting, the descriptions for the contest are in both English and Arabic. The picture shows the famous Kuwait towers in the background that were repaired after the attack by Soddam Hussein. Picture and frame are 29” X 21”.
